- Description
- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. This Sources Sought request is issued solely for information and planning purposes to identify potential sources. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Army is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in responding to this request; all costs incurred for responding to this request will be solely at the interested partys expense. Not responding to this request does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. As part of its market research, the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is searching for interested parties capable of providing the services outlined in the attached scope of work. General Scope:The Contractor shall furnish a software tool to be used specifically for designing, analyzing, and validating the LoS of Live Fire Training Ranges. The contractor shall provide a users manual detailing proper installation and usage of the software. The US Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville (CEHNC) will have unlimited use of this software as a design tool and for evaluating and validating the line-of-sight capability of live fire training ranges. Use will be limited to within CEHNC. The software shall run on Windows 10 operating systems using a commercial-off-the-shelf PC that meets minimum operating specs but requiring no proprietary hardware. Specifically, the contractor shall provide a software update that is compatible with Bentley OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition. The contractor shall supply all updates made to the software to CEHNC during the period of performance. See attached draft scope of work. Affirmative responses are requested along with a capability statement that addresses the following: Is your company capable of creating a software tool that meets the requirements of the draft scope of work and compatible with Bentley OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition? Does your company have a similar product? Can your existing software tool be modified to meet the requirements of the scope of work? If so, please include the details. What is a reasonable estimated time to develop and deliver the software tool? Email responses to the primary and secondary contact for this notice.
