- In accordance with FAR 36.204 the magnitude of construction is between �100,000,000 and �500,000,000. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide IDIQ exterior painting and repair works for various buildings at U.S. Naval Air Facility Misawa, Japan, as specified in the basic contract and NAVFAC Specification, as supplemented in each task order. Attachment 1, NAVFAC Specification eProject No. 1689228, will be made available to Offerors via approved controlled document request in Contract Opportunities (sam.gov). AUTHORIZATION TO PERFORM In accordance with DFARS 252.225-7042, the Offeror must be duly authorized to do business in Japan. CONTRACTOR LICENSING REQUIREMENTS Any contract resulting from this solicitation will be awarded and performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. Contractors must be duly authorized to operate and conduct business in Japan and must fully comply with all laws, decrees, labor standards, and regulations of Japan during the performance of the contract. Prior to award of any contract, Offerors must be registered to do business and possess a construction license (Kensetsu Gyo Kyoka) issued by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism, or prefectural government. Offerors will be required to provide verification on such construction license prior to award of any contract to the Contracting Officer if such information is not already on file with or available to the Contracting Officer. SUBMISSION OF BIDS IN JAPANESE YEN Bids shall be priced only in Japanese Yen. Bid not priced in Japanese yen shall be deemed non-responsive, and will not be eligible for award. 52.236-27� SITE VISIT (CONSTRUCTION) (FEB 1995) (a)�� The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. (b)�� An organized site visit has been scheduled after the pre-bid conference on -- 12 Jul 2022 at 09:00 AM (c)�� Participants will meet at-- Bldg. 987 Conference Room, PWD Misawa, Misawa AB, Japan (d)�� Offeror is required to submit a Site Visit Log (Attachment 4) that indicates all the attendees to the pre bid conference and site visit by e-mail to the point of contact below by 11 Jul 2022, 11:00 AM. Attendees who do not possess the gate pass, you will be escorted at the main gate. In such case, you are required to annotate on the Site Visit Log.
