Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source time and material contract for the continued operation, maintenance and continued building of existing infrastructure of the Community Finder Platform (CFP) digital tool allowing for expansion, enhancement, pilots, and future emergency response support as needed by the CDC. �The contract will support three primary objectives: Objective 1: �Operations, maintenance and enhancements to ensure the CFP: ��� �Is effectively and appropriately managed ��� �Uses appropriate technology and modern architectures; including separation of informational �static� content from application delivered �dynamic� content and functionality ��� �Is usable and meets audience needs; providing users with high-quality, current and accurate content, as coordinated with public and private entities ��� �Is innovative and creative, searchable, findable, and allows for re-use of content ��� �Complies with federal, HHS, and CDC policies, standards and best practices ��� �Is updated rapidly as content is submitted Objective 2: �Preparation of the CFP to effectively support CDC�s response to public health emergencies by: ��� �Developing and maintaining a digital communication strategy that incorporates lessons learned from past responses including COVID-19, user and usability studies and stakeholder feedback ��� �Developing, deploying, testing and maintaining updated suite of tools and provider platform to best meet these strategic goals Objective 3: �Preparation for operational surge capacity: ��� �Prepare and provide plans for scaling up resources, activities and deployment cadence in the event of a public health emergency or significant Emergency Operations Center (EOC) activation ��� �Provide increased resources to respond to increased need. The only vendor that can support the need of this requirement is The Children�s Hospital Corporation. �The technology and system are proprietary and is the intellectual property of The Children�s Hospital Corporation. �Other systems exist that are simply pharmacy locators (allow a user to find the nearest pharmacy). �They do not have the capability to aggregate, translate, and integrate pharmacy inventory detail as needed for this effort to meet government response needs to COVD-19 pandemic. �This action�s associated NAICS code is 541715 titled, �Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (Except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology)�. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all capability statements/proposals/quotations received from responsible sources within ten (10) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. �A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. �Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. �Any quotation/response should be emailed to contracting officer, Candice L.
