- NOTICE TYPE: Pre-Solicitation Notice SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140R3022R0025 PROJECT NAME: Parking Garage AC Unit Replacement - Hoover for the Lower Colorado Basin Hoover Dam NAICS: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, which has a small business size standard of $16.5 Million dollars. PSC: N041 Installation of Equipment � Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Air Circulating Equipment This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice with the intent of synopsizing a proposed contract action prior to issuance of the solicitation. Specific instructions on submitting your proposal will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or about July 20, 2022, posted to the Sam.gov website. No documents will be available until the solicitation is issued. All parties are responsible for checking the Beta.Sam.gov website for the most current information. All dates in this announcement are estimates and are subject to change. The solicitation, once issued, will contain instructions for submitting questions. No questions regarding this acquisition will be accepted or addressed/answered prior to the formal solicitation issuance. DESCRIPTION: The Lower Colorado Basin, Hoover Dam is approximately 8 miles northeast of Boulder City, Nevada and 32 miles southeast of Las Vegas, Nevada in Clark County. The work for this construction contract will consist of but not be limited to cleaning of the existing Duct work, removal and disposal of the existing AC units, install variable speed, multi position air handler; Rheem RH2V6024STANJA or equivalent, install Rheem Classic Two-Stage Heat Pump Model RP1660AJ1NA or equivalent, install a programmable thermostat, install new 12"" X 12"" Duct to fit through 13"" X 13"" wall and floor openings, and commission the system for proper operations and rectify all issues in accordance with the Statement of Work. SET-ASIDE: This solicitation is set-aside 100% for Small Business. PROCUREMENT TYPE: This acquisition will be pursued in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-2 and FAR 15.101, Best Value Continuum. The Government intends to award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) construction contract from this solicitation and a period of performance is anticipated to begin on or about August 15, 2022, with an anticipated completion date of December 31, 2022. Furthermore, the estimated magnitude of this construction project will range between $25,000.00 and $150,000.00. REGISTRATIONS: Offerors are required to have a current registration on the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for contract award. Offerors may register on SAM at https://www.sam.gov/. and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications. SITE-VISIT: A pre-proposal site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties; information (e.g. date, time, location) will be provided with the solicitation.
