- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, intends to issue a solicitation to procure Burst Discs Assemblies, in accordance with NAVSEA drawings 5624005(53711) Rev E, Burst Disc Assy � Gas Generator, 5816525(53711) Rev J, Burst Disc Assembly, Safety-CO2 Container, 5816567 (53711) Rev E, Burst Disc Assy � Mixing Manifold. The manufacturer shall be certified ISO 9001:2015 or comparable, and have experience with sampling using quality systems compliant with MIL-STD-105 and ANSI Z1.4 or comparable. The Government anticipates awarding a fixed price economic price adjustment (FP-EPA) supply contract, including 96 first article test units, 48 test samples, and 300 production units as the initial (base) quantity, with an option to purchase an additional 300 production units.� First article units will be required to pass inspection, testing, and acceptance by the Government before manufacturing any production units will be authorized.� The solicitation number for this requirement is N0025322R0030.� Offers shall be FOB Destination.� The target award date is, December 16, 2022. The NAICS code is 332999, All Other Miscellaneous Fabricated Metal Product Manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 750 employees.� The Product Service Code is 4820, Machinery & Components Valves, Nonpowered.� This solicitation will be Unrestricted utilizing FAR Part 15 procedures.� This procurement is subject to 252.225-7021, Trade Agreements.� The Government anticipates issuing the solicitation on or about August 15, 2022 with a 30-day response time.� The contracting office is not maintaining a bidders list.� Failure to respond to the electronically posted solicitation and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render the offer non-responsive and result in rejection. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies.� However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 7 days of this notice.
