Description
The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 intends to solicit from a single source IAW 13.106(b) to obtain a Platinum Service Contract for GI Bronch Mentor on an existing 3D Systems Simbionix GI Bronch Mentor Simulator. Period of performance: 12 months base and two 12 months option periods. Basic description of the requirement: The VA NY Harbor Healthcare System is currently in need to purchase services/maintenance for an existing 3D Systems Simbionix GI Bronch Mentor Simulator. The simulator requires routine maintenance and service by highly trained and manufacturer-certified personnel. The simulator will be used by the surgical service for resident and faculty training. This system allows realistic training to facilitate performance during procedures without harm to patients. This equipment is essential to the surgical residents who shall be trained on this equipment to ensure they meet their board certification requirements.  Place of Performance: VA NY Healthcare System Manhattan 423 E 23rd St. New York, NY 10010 The NAICS code for this requirement is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance Intended Source: 3D Systems Healthcare 5381 S Alkire Cir Littleton, CO 80127-1403 UEI: L14JMSR6DNF8 THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by July 29, 2022 at 4:00PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE PLATINUM SERVICE CONTRACT FOR GI BRONCH MENTOR in the subject line. All documents submitted, will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Contract Specialist Leia Labruna at Leia.Labruna@va.gov. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements.
