- This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price to purchase the renewal of Gigamon Enhanced Level Support, with Blackwood Associates, Inc. �� The Department of Clinical Research Informatics (DCRI) is responsible for the network infrastructure that supports the technology of all mainframe and desktop computers, and the management and development of applications and databases. The Clinical Center utilizes Gigamon to monitor the status of the Clinical Centers Network.� Gigamon offers a broad range of Service and Support programs to help confidently deploy and maintain Gigamon solutions and implement the latest technologies and security architectures. Gigamon provides support services and hardware replacement capabilities to augment technical staff and logistics operations. This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Comments to this announcement, referencing this posting number, may be submitted to the CC, Office of Purchasing and Contracts, prior to the closing date, July 29, 2022 at 12:00 PM EST specified in this announcement, electronically to the attention of Noelle DeCenzo, Contract Specialist, Noelle.decenzo@nih.gov by the due date and time marked in this notice.
