Description

The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Holloman AFB, New Mexico has concluded their market research and intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source firm-fixed price (FFP) purchase order under FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to FARO Technologies Inc., 250 Technology Park, Lake Mary FL 32746-7115. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811310, with a small business size standard of $8M. This purchase order will be to obtain a service plan for FARO equipment in use at the 846th Test Squadon. The anticipated award date is 19 Aug 2022. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Although the Government intends to solicit and award a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, a bid, proposal, or quotation which will be considered by the Government if received no later than 12 Aug 2022 at 1:00 PM MDT.
