- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number 140L2222Q0020 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) with an open date of July 29, 2022, and close date of August 15, 2022. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2022-06. This is a total small business set aside under NAICS 212319 and a size standard of 500. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Taos Field Office has a requirement in soliciting quotations on a competitive basis from qualified vendors to enter a firm fixed price contract for 3,000 ton of Pit Run Road Base Gravel to be supplied and delivered to a job site near Maes, New Mexico (see delivery location Map). Delivery will be required on a 1.1 mile stretch of road. Deliveries can be via end dumps or belly dumps but contractor shall determine which method is best given the amount of turning room available and type of material being delivered. Contractor shall provide certified lab results for the following gravel type at least 7 days prior to trucking. Payment will be made only after trucking is complete and based off the certified scale tickets that are hand delivered by every truck. Please provide reasonable pricing for the required services. Please see the attached specifications for additional information. Period of Performance: September 1, 2022 to September 16, 2022. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable under this synopsis/solicitation: 52.212.1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5, and can be downloaded as full text at: https://www.acquisition.gov The resultant contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose offer is the lowest price technically acceptable. Offerors must be registered in the System for Awards Management (beta.SAM.gov) database in order to do business with the Federal Government and be considered for award. The database can be accessed at http://www.sam.gov. The solicitation is available electronically at beta.Sam.gov. Offers are being accepted via electronic mail to Eleanor Tippeconnie, at etippeco@blm.gov. Offers are to be submitted via company letterhead, referencing this RFQ and are due no later than 4:30 PM MD on August 15, 2022.
