THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTE. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. NOTICE OF THE INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration (DOT/FHWA) � Central Federal Lands Highway Division, 12300 W. Dakota Ave., Lakewood Colorado intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to The Westervelt Company for obtaining mitigation credits for project CO FLAP 34(1)36(1) Estes Park. The Contractor shall furnish mitigation credits through the Big Thompson Confluence Mitigation Bank for stream credits. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 813312 - Environment, Conservation and Wildlife Organizations, Standard Size $17.0. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.� A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� Any response should be emailed to the attention Kelly Palmer at CFLContracts@dot.gov.
