Description

The Business Innovation Services Department (BISD) in the Office of Information Technology (OIT) currently manages contracts and task orders that provide critical engineering and operational support that enables Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC)�s mission through application best technological solutions. Many of these contracts are 10-year IDIQ contracts with severable and non-severable task orders, as well as BPAs with calls, straight 5-year contracts, and delivery orders, creating challenges around overall contract oversight and management. BISD CORs require support assistance with reviewing and providing comments on post award documents, drafting and authoring pre-award documents, developing tools & templates for BISD CORs to use. In addition, BISD CORs require training, and assistance to develop process/procedures on the templates to ensure easy-to-follow steps and understanding by all in BISD, with input from PD and OGC, as appropriate. Under the leadership and support of the Chief Information Officer, BISD is seeking the help of IT Acquisition Support Contractor to achieve two major goals: ������������� Reduce cost in IT Contracts by increasing efficiency and improving oversight. ������������� Research and document federal and commercial IT contract best-practice terms, and conditions, set-asides, contract length, teaming arrangements, structure, etc.
