- Product description: PressReader from ProQuest provides magazines and world newspapers, both current and archived for leisure reading and research in full-text from major publications as well as local sources. Product characteristics an equal item must meet to be considered: 1.�������� Must be able to provide online research tools from professionally curated sources that offer trusted information. 2.�������� Must provide interactive, digital access to nearly 7,000 of the world�s best newspapers and magazines. 3.�������� Just like reading a print edition, viewers can browse articles and other key elements, including pictures, advertisements, classifieds, and notices.� Ability to perform keyword searches across all titles, and save both stories and full publications. 4.�������� Must offer readers the most intuitive and user-friendly way to read newspapers and magazines from around the world, including publications from Europe, Latin America, Asia, the Middle East, Canada, and The U.S. 5.�������� Must provide Access from a single interface news reports, editorials, and, with historical and current newspapers, advertisements, stock tables, cartoons, and more published daily. 6.�������� Must provide users everything from local news stories to pop culture magazines, industry reports, and national opinion pieces. 7.�������� Must provide a customized Home Feed, the most engaging, relevant, and trusted stories are brought to the front. 8.�������� Must be able to provide password embedded URL�s for access through Library OPACS. 9.�������� Must be able to interface with the Air Force Portal, Army Knowledge Online (AKO), Marine Corps, Military OneSource, and Navy Digital Library (NDL) and the DoD Library Service Platform. 10.������ Must be able to interface with all service branch library and Military OneSource websites using industry standard authentication methods to ensure only eligible patrons can access resources from any internet connected computer browsers and mobile devices. 11.������ Must work with contract POC to establish authentication methods to provide optimal accessibility for all eligible patrons. 12.������ Security between the Website and server must be Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.3. 13.������ Must be able to supply or allow retrieval of database usage statistics by Branch of Service (Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Military OneSource/Other, and Navy) 14.������ Must have HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) with long duration deployed on the servers to mitigate/prevent man-in-the-middle attacks. 15.������ Website certificates should be RSA 2048-bits (SHA256withRSA).
