- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to purchase AirChekĀ® TOUCH 3-pack High/Low Flow Pump Kit with accessories or Equal for the VA Northern California Health Care System. This notice serves to survey the market to ascertain whether-or-not sources are capable of providing the requested supply. This notice allows potential contractors/vendors to submit a non-binding statement of interest and documentation demonstrating their capability. Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) is requesting responses from qualified business concerns; the qualifying NAICS code for this effort is 334519 Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing. This Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classifications (Service Disabled/Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB/VOSB), Hub zone, 8(a), small, small disadvantaged, woman owned small business, or large business) relative to NAICS 334519 and Size Standard of $30,000,000. Responses to this notice, will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this notice, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this notice are not considered adequate responses to any corresponding solicitation announcement. All interested offerors are requested to respond to this notice but are required to respond to the official solicitation announcement in order to be awarded the contract. Background: The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking vendors who can provide AirChekĀ® TOUCH 3-pack High/Low Flow Pump Kit with accessories or Equal for the VA Northern California Health Care System. The purpose of personal air monitoring equipment is to support NCHCS s exposure monitoring program and meet compliance accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standards. The equipment will be used to quantify employee s exposure to toxic chemicals/vapors/gases that may cause adverse health effects. The vendors must demonstrate the ability to meet all requirements for this notice. See salient characteristics below. Salient Characteristics Brand Name or Equal: Equipment shall be in compliance with OSHA. Personal air monitoring shall have capabilities to operate at 1000 5000 ml/min with low flow from 5 to 500 ml/min. Pumps shall have a battery-life of 10 hours at 5000 ml/min. Kits shall include pumps, charging cradles, power supply with cord, USB cable, filter cassette holders, tube holders, protective tube covers, and a pelican case. Pump calibrators shall have the capabilities to calibrate flow rates from 20 500 ml and 0.5 ml to 5 L/min. Pumps should have protective cases for use during sampling events. End caps shall fit 7/32 inch sorbent tubes. The Department of Veterans Affairs is neither seeking quotes nor accepting unsolicited quotes, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers.
