Description: The Contracting Department, Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract for Laboratory Equipment entitled �Thermo Scientific ThermoFlex Air Cooled Recirculating Chiller and Sahara SC100 S-7 Heat Circulating Baths� utilizing procedures under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Brand Name contract with authorized resellers of Thermo Scientific. The authority for use of other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, only one brand and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed action is for supplies and a single base period.
