Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 -- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR -- Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, specifically FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items; and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation is attached to this announcement. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06, dated 5-26-2022. Solicitation # 36C26222R0114 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) and constitutes the only solicitation. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award with a base year and up to four (4) option years. This procurement will be issued as an SDVOSB total set-aside competitive requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 516320 and the Small Business Administration s (SBA) size standard is $30 million. The Government is seeking a contract for fourteen (14) Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), to provide motor vehicle patient transportation at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS). Contract EMTs shall be responsible for all duties and responsibilities related to inpatient and ambulatory care patient transportation to meet the objectives of the Service. The majority of the work is centered on providing transportation for veterans who have clinically validated special mode transportation needs. See attached Solicitation for complete details, Statement of Work (SOW), applicable clauses / provisions, and other pertinent information relative to this solicitation. Place of Performance: VA Greater Los Angeles Medical Center (VAGLAHS), 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90073. Period of Performance: Base year with the Government having the option to exercise up to four (4) one (1) year option periods.
