- Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Puget Sound is posting a sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest and recourse to support the requirement for Non-Skid Epoxy deck covering installation kits used for tile/deck replacement on board a Naval Vessel located in Japan. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 325510, Paint and Coating Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.� The results of the market research will contribute to future procurement process decisions. No feedback or evaluations will be provided regarding any submissions on this sources sought announcement. Description of Supplies: The kits must include the epoxy deck covering material that is MIL-PRF-32584 Type IV, Class 1, Grade A, Comp E approved, the application tools to install the epoxy deck covering, instruction/specialty manuals, MSDS, and provide a technical representative on location to assist with the application if necessary.� The kits must provide the following colors blue, green, red, yellow, and purple. The kits must have labels are affixed to packaged (unit container) of any hazardous material to be delivered in accordance with the Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200 et seq). The Standard requires that the hazard warning label conform to the requirements of the standard unless the material is otherwise subject to the labeling requirements of one of the following statutes: (1) Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act; (2) Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetics Act; (3) Consumer Product Safety Act; (4) Federal Hazardous Substances Act; or (5) Federal Alcohol Administration Act. Submission Instructions Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to deliver these supplies are invited to submit a response or questions to this Sources Sought Synopsis Announcement no later than 2:00 PM Pacific 16 August 2022. All responses to this notice shall be emailed to Jeff Bulthuis Jeffrey.s.bulthuis.civ@us.navy.mil and CC�d to Homer Shoup at homer.o.shoup.civ@us.navy.mil If your organization has the capability to deliver these supplies, please provide the following information. 1. Tailored capability statement addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of capability, including manufacture of epoxy, list of kit contents, and the amount of square feet each kit will cover.
