Description

Conmy Hall is a highly visible and transient area. This building is where the military host several ceremonial events. The flooring which is approximately 21,000 SF is in need of replacement. The flooring has been repaired several times and is approximately 22 years old. Requires immediate attention and replacement to effect a safer, healthier and functional environment for the soldiers and events. Provide labor and material required to replace base and overlay of existing flooring which consist of the new floor surface installation; as well as a combination of caulk, wood and rubber which is a specialized type of flooring. Grind high seams in the concrete. Remove the existing cove base and prep for the new base installation. Test the slab with RH testing to ensure proper adhesion. Glue the new Mondo Rubber floor surface as selected by the owner using PU105 two-part polyurethane adhesive. The seams will be bricked until the adhesive sets. Remove bricks and clean the surface clean. Apply of Diversey �Care-Free� Matte floor surface finish. Install the new 4� base in a color chosen by the owner. Install aluminum thresholds in the door openings and area that forms a smooth transitions to exiting tile and ramp areas. Prices shall include installing required transitions, and after hours installation, if necessary.
