- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center, Butner, North Carolina, intends to award a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.3602-1, only one responsible source, to Baxter Health Care Corporation, 1 Baxter Parkway, Deerfield, IL 60015-4633, for the provision of Supplies for twenty (20) Phoenix system dialysis machines located within the Federal Correctional Complex, Federal Medical Center, Butner, North Carolina.� The NAICS code is 325412. �The period of performance for this procurement will be October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. Other vendors who believe they can meet the requirements may provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 1:00 pm (EST). �Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability of the vendor to supply products and services that will comply with the requirements and perform satisfactorily manner. Vendors must also provide references from other customers who are using these products and services, and show that competition would be advantageous to the Government, Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Interested firms must provide a Capability Statement with the following information: Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Telephone and Fax Number, Email address, Business size, DUNS Number and Unique Entity ID.� If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Baxter Health Care Corporation. Responses may be e-mailed to Casey McLean, Contract Specialist, at cmclean@bop.gov and Davitta Williams, Lead Contract Specialist, d11williams@bop.gov by the deadline stated above. All vendors are hereby notified if your response is not received by the date specified in this notice, it will not be considered.
