- Solicitation N0042122Q0466 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order on a brand name basis, for Torsion Bars manufactured by Shiloh Industries, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and FAR Part 13. All responding vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov/vendor.cfm. This procurement is a total set-aside for small business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6. *** Basis for Award*** This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the initial offer should represent the vendor�s best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability. Your quote must contain enough technical information to evaluate your quote. Your quote will only be evaluated on the information you provide. The Government intends to award this on a brand name basis. All interested parties MUST submit a brand name quote no later than August 18, 2022 by 08:00AM Eastern Standard Time. If you are quoting, you MUST be an authorized distributor and provide verification from the Manufacturer confirming authorized distributor status. Items must be covered under the Manufacturer�s Warranty; Used or refurbished items will not be accepted. Award will be made on an all or none basis. Solicitation closing date/time is firm; proposals received after the deadline will not be accepted. Please submit all quotes/responses via email to olive.w.rogers.civ@us.navy.mil.
