Description
This is a solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only public posting; quotations are being requested orally.�Solicitation number FA3099-22-Q-1021 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is intended as a Total Small Business Set-Aside, and a Firm Fixed Price contract will be Awarded based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The 47th Contracting Flight, Laughlin AFB, Texas requires: Two (2)�L3HARRIS FALCON III� AN/PRC-152A�Radios Or Equal; Two (2) Chargers Compatible with the Radios and; Two (2) Replacement Batteries Compatible with the Radios. Salient Product Characteristics: Type 1 wideband networking handheld portable radios with narrowband line-of-sight and Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Satellite Communications (SATCOM) capabilities for interoperability with wideband, legacy and public safety systems. Have voice and data that are National Security Agency (NSA)-certified and secure up to TOP SECRET through an embedded encryption module. Able to cover multiband frequency ranges, with 5 Watt transmit power for Line-Of-Sight narrowband waveforms including Exelis Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS), HAVE QUICK I/II, and AM/FM VULOS (VULOS = VHF/UHF (Very High Frequency/Ultra High Frequency) Line of Sight (waveform)), and a 10 Watt burst for legacy SATCOM. Have a frequency coverage to 520 MHz, and 762-870 MHz band for Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials-International (APCO) P25 conventional and trunking interoperability. The radios must operate on VHF 116-160 Mhz and UHF 225-400 Mhz. Replacement batteries and Chargers must be compatible with the handheld radios. All quotes must be received by 19 Aug 2022 at 10:00am CST.� Please include both POCs listed in this post within your quote submission.�
