Description
SOFTWARE LICENSING OPPORTUNITY Acoustic Data Analytics for Predictive Technologies (ADAPT) This software provides a processing platform that is scalable, adaptable, and configurable to meet the needs of industrial manufacturers needing to develop sensors and data processing techniques. Opportunity: Idaho National Laboratory (INL), managed and operated by Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC (BEA), is offering the opportunity to enter into a license and/or collaborative research agreement to commercialize the INLDAS software. This technology transfer opportunity is part of a dedicated effort to convert government-funded research into job opportunities, businesses and ultimately an improved way of life for the American people. Overview: Original equipment manufacturers and users of equipment in critical infrastructures are investing in innovative instrumentation and processing techniques to achieve effective online process monitoring of a broader set of process parameters. This broader monitoring ability will allow manufacturers to gain operational insights from the process equipment running with different operating conditions. The ability to develop salient insight in the operation of a process/equipment can significantly enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of a process. Description: The ADAPT software provides the framework to develop new processing techniques for industrial processes based on cyclic signals and the recursive use of the algorithm. The software utilizes frequency, amplitude, and phase features from sensor signals (either raw or processed) that are extracted using recursive analysis, enabling: Understanding of reactor operations under different operating conditions. Identifying of quiescent frequency ranges for sensor development. System controls Predictive analytics Structural health monitoring Loose part monitoring Benefits: Provides a processing platform that is scalable, adaptable, and configurable to meet the needs of industrial manufacturers needing to develop sensors and data processing techniques. Provides the ability to quickly confirm the utility of using cyclic signals for specific manufacturing processes and sensors. Integration with machine learning algorithms will allow automation and predictive analytics Significantly reduces process development times. Applications: Manufacturing analytics software users IP Status: Copyright in software entitled Acoustic Data Analytics for Predictive Technologies , BEA Docket No. CW-22-12. INL is seeking to license the above intellectual property to a company with a demonstrated ability to bring such inventions to the market. Exclusive rights in defined fields of use may be available. Added value is placed on relationships with small businesses, start-up companies, and general entrepreneurship opportunities. Please visit Technology Deployments website at https://inl.gov/inl-initiatives/technology-deployment for more information on working with INL and the industrial partnering and technology transfer process. Companies interested in learning more about this licensing opportunity should contact Andrew Rankin at td@inl.gov.
