- Description
- This RFI is being amended to include the following changes/additional information: THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE. The Naval Air Warfare Center Lakehurst is requesting information pertaining to the development and procurement of the A/S32P-25A Shipboard Firefighting Vehicle headlight assemblies. The government intends to procure the design, one prototype kit and approximately 78 production kits. The current headlight assembly is obsolete and needs to be replaced. This effort is to design headlight assemblies that incorporate Night Vision Device (NVD) compatible LED lights based on NSN 6220-99-670-1313 into the P-25A Shipboard Firefighting Vehicle design; provide a prototype kit for evaluation; and provide kits required to upgrade all existing P-25As. The attached specification sheet identifies the headlight assembly design requirements. A headlight assembly is an assembled unit consisting of a headlight guard, headlight box, the NVD compatible LED light and associated electrical components. A kit consists of two (2) headlight assemblies and ancillary items. One kit is required per P-25A vehicle. The Headlamp design drawings are required one month after contract award and delivery of the prototype kit is required two months after contract award. Prototype kits are to be delivered FOB origin. The contractor shall preserve each kit in accordance with the MIL-STD-2073-1, Standard Practice for Military Packaging, Packaging Requirements Code = ""B"". Each kit shall be marked with a kit number. It is requested that estimated price information and timeline be provided. Price should account for delivery of the Assemblies with FOB origin. It is requested that information be submitted NO LATER THAN 09 September 2022 to Ms. Gianna via electronic mail at: gianna.v.gatto.civ@us.navy.mil. Ms. Gatto may also be reached at (732) 323-1270. Respondents are notified that a formal solicitation MAY NOT necessarily result from the RFI. Any comments provided may or may not be included in a formal solicitation. The Government WILL NOT PAY for any information received in response to this RFI nor will the Government compensate any respondent with costs incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. The Government will not release any information marked with a Proprietary legend, received in response to this RFI, to any firms, agencies, or individuals outside the Government without written permission in accordance with the legend.
