THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE � THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT�S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD TO PACIFIC CONSOLIDATED INDUSTRIES (PCI) FOR THE DO (DOCS 1500) GENERATOR MAINENANCE AND CONSUMABLE SPARE PARTS, CHATHAM AND EFFINGHAM COUNTIES, GEORGIA. The USACE, Savannah District intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to PCI.� The Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, and materials to fulfill the requirements of this contract. This contract will include supply of critical consumable spare parts, recalibrations, adjustments, and the maintenance to be expected during the 2022 operational year for the VSA DOCS 1500-5B OXYGEN Generators. The Government will schedule the maintenance services no later than 15 calendar days prior to the date the service is required. Both the Down River and Up-River Dissolved Injection Facilities are currently completed and in operation. Preventative maintenance is expected to be required for these locations at the time of this contract. Should the requirement for additional maintenance above the quantities identified in the contract, with or without spare parts, be identified as needed during the period of performance of this contract, a modification to include these requirements shall be considered in scope. The overall duration of this contract is 180 days. The anticipated award will be made under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR Part 13 � Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contract is intended to provide maintenance support to the DOCS 1500-5B oxygen generators that were purchased and installed under a previous construction requirement. Due to proprietary licenses and design no other vendor can provide the necessary maintenance knowledge and consumable parts that could integrate and function with the existing system. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A draft Performance Work Statement has been attached to this NOI. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
