Description

The 316th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Maryland intends to award a sole-source, contract to TRANE U.S. INC., located at 3600 Pammel Creek Rd, LA Crosse, WI 54601-7511 under GSA Schedule, MAS Contract #47QSWA20D002A to provide major inspection and maintenance rebuild and R'newal service utilizing the series R Rotary Screw Chller Compressor Service.� Trane Inc. provides servicing as the only source compatible to work with the RTHD series R compressor with an official OEM warranty under the GSA schedule.� These tri-fold chiller compressor towers supports critical environmental requirements at bldg 1558 on JBA for the 89th CS, 89th ASG, 744th CS, and 844th squadrons. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), only one responsible source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the equipment and work. The contract will result in a firm-fixed price purchase for a two (2)-year warranty period.� A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334512, Automatic Environmental Control Mfg for Residential, Commercial and Appliance use.� The size standard is 500 employess.� This award is restricted to GSA schedule MAS contracts only.
