- The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 6, on behalf of Durham VA Medical Center, intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract for Preventive maintenance and repairs on Omnicell Medication Dispensers, Carousel, Anesthesia Carts and all associated computers, servers and software Service at the Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center with Omnicell Inc in accordance with 41 U.S.C. ยง3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source. See attached Performance work statement. The Government intends to award a one-year contract. The applicable NAICS Code is 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing) with a size standard of $16.5 Million. The corresponding Product Service Code is J065. This is not a request for competitive offers and no solicitation is available. Market research has determined that these services are only available from a single source without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to award the contract with an effective date on or about 01 October 2022 to Omnicell Inc, 590 E Middlefield RD, Mountain View, CA, 94043-4008. The Durham Veterans Medical Center is seeking a contractor to provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials necessary to furnish Preventive maintenance and repairs. This will be a full-service contract which includes all preventive maintenance, repairs, repair parts, filters, calibrations, software support, license fees and phone support, as needed. Must have full access to the original manufacturer s software for calibration and repairs as required. No sub-contracting of any portion of this service is authorized. To include telephone support and staff training. All travel, materials and labor costs are to be covered with this agreement. Maintenance will be performed on the Omnicell Medication Dispensers, Carousel, Anesthesia Carts and all associated computers, servers and software at Salem VAMC This synopsis announcement is being issued for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for competitive proposals.
