Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS), on behalf of the Department of Treasury's Departmental Office's (DO) intends to award a sole source order to CTL-SystemWare for Technical Security Counter Measure (TSCM) equipment. This equipment is used to perform security maintenance activity(s) designed to safeguard Department of Treasury�s sensitive information from exploitation, compromise, or other unauthorized disclosure. The authority permitting a Sole Source Acquisition is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. The period of performance will be 12-months from date of award. According to market research conducted, CTL-SystemWare is the sole manufacturer and provider of CTL-SystemWare systems and is the only organization authorized to provide upgrades, training, maintenance, and repair for these systems without violation of warranty, equipment damage, or performance degradation from unauthorized components and software.�
