Description

**Add Amendment 0002 on 31 Aug 2022** **Add Amendment 0001 on 31 Aug 2022**� This Solicitation is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The United States Air Force is seeking potential contractors qualified to expand the power infrastructure at the Donnelly Training Area (DTA) near Fort Greely, Alaska and repair the damage at the Yukon Training Area near Eielson AFB, Alaska. The general scope of this project includes installing a power distribution network that will utilize the existing GVEA 25kV lines and providing the following electrical services at the DTA site: two 500kVA, 480VAC on three locations, one 225kVA, 480 VAC, and one50kVA, 120/208 VAC WYE. The power distribution network at the DTA site will need to be able to provide underground services from the existing GVEA lines to each of the four sites. Underground fiber optic lines will need to be installed to connect the three operation pads to the maintenance facility.� During the ice storm in Dec 2021, the YTA sustained damage to 11 electrical poles, 7 broken and twisted cross arms and approximately 6 miles of overhead electrical conductor. These repairs are needed to reestablish power to the range facilities. The work shall include but is not limited to: Two 500 kVA transformers, one 50kVA transformer, one 225kVA transformer, and all associated hardware. Provide underground power service and fiber optic cable at the DTA site. The transformers will be ground mounted and require a new concrete pad. A utility vault will also be required. Eleven eletrical pole, seven broken and twisted cross arms, and approximately 6 miles of overhead electrical conductor at the YTA site.� The Government is contemplating a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Sealed Bid contract. The estimated magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 IAW FAR 36.204(f). This posting is an Invitation for Bid(IFB). Bids must be valid for 120 days. Offerors are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this solicitation; all costs associated with responding to this solicitation will be solely at the interested party�s expense. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The due date and time for submission of bids is contained in the solicitation package. Paper copies will NOT be available. The entire solicitation, including all specifications, are available only on the System for Award Management website at https://www.SAM.gov All contractors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.SAM.gov/ NOTICE TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES: 1.
