- Description
- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. The General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Information Technology Category (ITC) identified a need to procure Bloomberg Anywhere subscription (five licenses) in support of Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management (C-SCRM) program. The Government intends to award for this requirement a sole source (brand name) purchase order to Bloomberg Finance L.P., 731 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10022-1331 using procedures outlined in FAR 13.106-1(b); as there is only one responsible source, and no other supplies or service will satisfy the agency requirement. The resultant contract is intended to be awarded as a firm-fixed price (FFP), single award for a 12-month performance period. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation under number 47QTCB22Q0014 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) forcommercial productsorcommercial servicesprepared in accordance with the format inFederal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested from the anticipated awardee and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement provides a Bloomberg Anywhere subscription for five (5) licensed users during a 12-month performance period. The Government requires a comprehensive, subscription-based, online tool that collects best-in class reliable data, information, and news in the financial industry. This requirement focuses on the analysis provided by the Bloomberg Anywhere subscription to include vital supply chain business intelligence data (e.g., information on foreign ownership or prohibited supply sources) critical to identify current vendors and/or potential offerors business relationships with prohibited entities. ITC requires a subscription with robust research capabilities that illuminates the relationship between government customers and suppliers on service contracts. The Bloomberg Anywhere subscription (online tool) will facilitate the development of a more proactive risk management posture for the ITC portfolio. Additionally, this information will improve compliance with Section 889 of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act and advance the maturity of FAS/ITC C-SCRM programs. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged.
