Description

Sole Source Intent: The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), United States Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with PerkinElmer Health Science, Inc. located at 710 Bridgeport Ave, Shelton, CT, 06484-4750. The USAYPG has a requirement for maintenance and repairs from Perkin Elmer of various equipment such as NexIon ICP-MS,(serial number: 815N9011902X); Cetac ASX-520 Autosampler, (serial number: 070918A520); PolyScience WhisperCool Chiller,(serial number: 1901-00293); JANUS G3 Standard, 4-tip, RUO (serial number: JA1830N2557); Tri-Carb TR4910 Liquid Scintillation Counter (serial number: SGL044180870); Oil Express 4 System Autosampler and FT-IR (serial number: JA2125N4532); TurboMatrix 40 Headspace Sampler (serial number M41L0209133); Clarus 580 GC (serial number: 580S15043002); Clarus 680GC (serial number: 680S15061501)and Clarus 500 GC (serial number: 650N6121207. �These instruments have unique designs and unique/proprietary parts or firmware/software that only a properly trained technician can service correctly. �Perkin Elmer does not authorize third parties to service their instruments. �Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12 and 13, FAC 2022-07, effective 10 Aug 2022.� The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811219 � Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a size standard is $22,000,000.00. �THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. �A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
