- The United States Marshals Service (USMS) intends to negotiate and award a firm fixed price purchase order to Motorola Solutions, Inc., 2100 Progress Parkway, Schaumburg, IL 60196 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Only one awardee is capable of providing the supplies or services required. Market research efforts conclude that Motorola Solutions, Inc. is the only source that can provide the requirement for communications network subscription services for the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force�s operational personnel�s twenty (20) Motorola StarCom21 hand-held dual tactical radios and forty-two (42) state-wide radios. The law enforcement (LE) restricted network is only available through Motorola Solutions, Inc. The anticipated period of performance is one year. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotes. A Request for Quote will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. However, interested parties may identify their interests and submit a capabilities statement in response to the requirement by contacting Deloyce Barrington, Contracting Officer via email only at deloyce.barrington@usdoj.gov no later than September 14, 10:00 AM ET, eight (8) days after the date of publication of this notice. Information received will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No phone calls regarding questions will be accepted and will not receive a response. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. Vendors must be registered in SAM to receive government contracts.
