- RFQ 36C24222Q0578 Amendment 0001 Response time has been extended until April 26, 2022 at 11:00am EST. Questions received from potential quoters, as well as answers provided Question 1: Are we supposed to complete all those forms attached and email them to you? Answer: As stated on page 1 of RFQ 36C24222Q0578, please refer to sections E.1, 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors and E.5 52.212-2 Evaluation for detailed information to submit with your response package. Question 2: What has to be done and when is it due? Is the bid for contract open or closed? Answer: Please refer to section E.1, 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors, questions are due by April 19, 2022 at 10:00AM EST via email. All questions may not be answered, but those that are will be answered in an amendment to the solicitation. Any amendments must be acknowledged with contractor signature and submitted with your complete response package. Please follow all instructions and provide requested information for all evaluation factors in section E.5 52.212-2 Evaluation. Complete response packages with quotes are due by April 26, 2022 at 11:00am EST. Question 3: How many of these cases typically run concurrently? Answer: Typically, only one case per day with a max of two cases on one day and paid per case, not per day. Question 4: What day(s) of the week have the highest number of cases? Answer: Monday and Friday Question 5: The RFQ does not mention call coverage. Will call coverage be required? If so, what is the required response time? Answer: Yes, call coverage is required, unpaid, no overtime. The response time would be within 2-3 hours. Question 6: How many cases requiring IONM typically occur during nights or weekends? Answer: Cases would be rare to never during overnight or weekends. Question 7: Does the VA Bronx expect the vendor-provided equipment to be stored on site at the medical center, or shall the equipment be brought only for cases? Answer: The vendor-provided equipment shall be brought in for cases.
