Description

Notice of Intent The U. S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Polk, Louisiana intends to issue a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract to L3Harris Technologies, Inc., a large business, under authority FAR 13.106- 1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization; for one (1) additional dispatch console for Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) and Fort Polk, Louisiana. The sole-source contract will have a delivery date of no later than 30 April 2023. �The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing. The Small Business Administration's size standard for NAICS 334220 is 1,250 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for one (1) additional dispatch console. The Contracting Officer determined the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonable available. The MICC Fort Polk intends to make a sole source award on or about 21 September 2022 to L3Harris Technologies, Inc., 221 Jefferson Ridge Pkwy, Lynchburg, VA 24501.
