Description
SOURCES SOUGHT Relocate Echo Bay Barge to 980 ft. for Lake Mead National Recreation Area (Lake Mead NRA) THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, bids, or quotations. A solicitation does not exist for this requirement at this time; therefore, do not request a copy of solicitation. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. It is incumbent upon the interested party to review SAM.gov for updates on this notice. The National Park Service (NPS�), Interior Regions 8, 9, 10, and 12 is conducting market research to understand the numbers and types of contractors who can provide barge relocation and provide warranty for work that is being performed by an incumbent contractor for Lake Mead NRA. Due to the receding water levels, the current work being performed by the incumbent contractor has changed from the depth of 1,000� to 980� water level. The work will consist of the following: Relocation the Echo Bay (EB) water intake barge, from 1,000� water elevation location to 980� water elevation location. 1. Relocate Water Intake Barge: Includes, but not limited to, relocating one (1) � approximately 20� x 20� water intake barge from 36�18'50.50""N, 114�24'10.11""W to 36�18'48.95""N, 114�24'04.20""W, including reconnecting existing water and power. In addition, disconnecting, relocating, and reconnecting existing four (4) approximately 4� x 4� x 4� concrete anchors. Work includes other associated civil, mechanical, and electrical material, labor, and equipment. 2. Extend Water Distribution: Includes, but is not limited to, extending existing 6� High- Density Polyethylene (HDPE) from existing HDPE to flexible rubber pipe at relocated barge. Coordinate the water disconnection/reconnection with COR at least five (5) working days prior. Work includes other associated mechanical material, labor, and equipment. 3. Extend Electrical Distribution: Includes, but is not limited to, extending existing 250 Kcmil electrical cable from existing electrical cable to electrical load center at relocated barge. Coordinate the electrical disconnection/reconnection with COR at least five (5) working days prior. Work includes other associated electrical material, labor, and equipment. 4. Install Floating Breakwaters/Wave Attenuators: Includes, but not limited to, providing and installing about 500 linear feet of floating breakwater/wave attenuators with anchoring system. Work includes other associated material, labor, and equipment. i. Wave Attenuator | Floating Breakwater by Wave Eater ii. Floating Breakwater of Wave Attenuators for Wave Reduction and Attenuation | WaveBrake� C. Field Verification: The contractor Interested contractors able to perform the type of work detailed above should PROVIDE COMPANY OR ENTITY NAME, ADDRESS, UEI, AND CONTACT INFORMATION FOR PRIMARY POINTS OF CONTACT, AND ANY RELEVANT INFORMATION DEMONSTRATING YOUR CAPABILITY TO PERFORM THE WORK to cris_stubitz@nps.gov. ALL INFORMATION MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE NO LATER THAN CLOSE OF BUSINESS ON 09/15/2022 2:00 PM. Interested contractors must be currently registered (or be able to be registered prior to any future award) in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the official SAM website at www.sam.gov (SAM registration is FREE - beware fraudulent websites posing as SAM and attempting to collect registration fee).
