- Special Notice Special Notice Page 2 of 2 Special Notice *= Required Field Special Notice Page 1 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 hereby provides notice of its intent to award a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order to Alliant Healthcare 2140 Oak Industrial Drive NE Grand Rapids, MI 49505. The contract is expected to be awarded as a direct SDVOSB award in accordance with VAAR 819.7007 based on U.S.C. 8127(c). The Purchase Order will be for Alliant Healthcare to provide an Olympus Empower 65W Laser system for the Montana VA Health Care System located in Billings, MT. The Purchase Order will be for 1 laser system with single use laser fibers. NAICS code: 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing (SBA Size Standard 1, Employees) THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than September 15, 2022, 2:00 pm, MT. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 19 will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. Also, prospective contractor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller to the Department of Veterans Affairs for the proposed equipment/system such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with Response to Intent to Sole Source to Alliant Healthcare for Olympus Empower 65W Laser system in the subject line. All documents submitted will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed to Chris Hollingsworth by email at Chris.Hollingsworth@va.gov. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support this requirement.
