Description

This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP).� There is no solicitation document available.� This is a Notice of Intent of the United States property and Fiscal Office (USPFO-MS) 172d Airlift Wing Contracting Office to issue a contract using 8(a) Sole Source procedures to Gulf Coast Solutions, LLC, Cage Code 7K7N7, for construction of project number LRXQ982491 Add Alt. Water Distribution System in Flowood, MS.� The NAICS Code is 237110, with a small business standard size of $39.5 million.� In accordance with FAR subpart 19.8 and DFARS subpart 219.8, the Small Business Administration (SBA) District Office of Jackson, MS has authorized the USPFO-MS 172d Airlift Wing Contracting Office to negotiate directly with Gulf Coast Solutions, LLC for an 8(a) Sole Source award.� The purpose of this contract is to make repairs to an existing underground water distribution system, to include new valves, meters, hydrants, pipes and fittings at the 172d Airlift Wing in Flowood, MS.� It is in the best interest of the government to acquire the construction service using 8(a) Sole Source procedures and to determine the price fair and reasonable based on comparison of the proposed price with prices found reasonable of previous purchases and to possibly negotiate with the contractor.�
