- Missile Defense Agency � September 16, 2022 Contract Announcement Corcoran Engineering, Inc.* of Waltham, Massachusetts is being awarded a competitive cost-plus-fixed-fee type contract. The total value of this contract, excluding unexercised options, is $1,487,720. Under this new contract, the contractor will conduct research and development of coherently beam combined direct diode lasers for Department of Defense applications. The work will be performed in Waltham, Massachusetts. The contract period of performance will be September 2022 to September 2023. This contract was competitively procured via publication on the Contract Opportunities website under the Missile Defense Agency�s Innovation, Science, & Technology (IS&T) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA), Solicitation No. HQ0860-21-S-0001.
