- The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Department Groton Office, Groton, CT intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price Sole Source Purchase Order to Northeast Tower Service Corp for SPX-Recold Fluid Cooler Overhaul Repair Services to include all parts and materials, labor, installation, calibration and testing services. The SPX-Fluid Cooler Repair Overhaul services shall be performed IN PLACE at the Navy Clothing and Textile Research Facility (NCTRF) located in Natick, MA 01760. The estimated period of performance begins 23 September 2022 to 22 December 2022. The estimated service completion date is 30 Days ADC. This purchase will be procured utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13 and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 19 September 2022. This notice is not a request for proposals or quotations. However, any challenges to this sole source must be received in writing and sent to sharon.j.dexter.civ@us.navy.mil to be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete this requirement. Challenges must include information sufficient to enable the Government to make a determination that an equivalent supply/service exists that would meet the Governments needs stated herein. A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
