- Amendment 0002 cancels solicitation 12444522Q0064 in its entirety. No award will be made from this solicitation. All quotes received in response to this solicitation were significantly higher than the government estimate and exceeded appropriations available to complete the project. It is in the Governments best interest to cancel the solicitation. Amendment 0001 posts the Pre-Bid/Site Visit Sign-in Sheet and Meeting Notes. The US Forest Service, CSA#6 Team, announces a total small business set-aside request for quote opportunity for pre-demolition abatement services on the Midewin Tall Grass Prairie (TGP) located in Illinois. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 562910 with a size standard of $22 million. It is anticipated that one firm fixed price contract will be awarded from this solicitation. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov in order to be considered for award. The contractor shall provide all project management, administrative services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, labor, equipment, and materials to complete the work described in this solicitation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
