- Description
- The United States Space Force (USSF) Space Launch Delta 45 (SLD 45) hereby issues the following special notice: A number of Commercial Space Launch Service Providers (CLSPs) have requested use of unused launch sites on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS), Florida. �SLD 45 is currently developing a Launch Pad Allocation Strategy (LPAS) to grant use of its remaining launch sites in the near future. The purpose of this announcement is to formally seek interest from CLSPs who wish to potentially lease a launch site at CCSFS, yet do not have a Commercial Space Operations Support Agreement (CSOSA) with the USSF or a CSOSA Annex A with SLD 45. Respondents must be able to demonstrate that they have the technical and financial capability to begin launch operations within the next five years. Interested parties shall provide the following information to the POCs listed below: 1.� Name of Company 2.� Point of Contact information (Name, Business Title, Phone, E-mail address) 3.� Business profile (age and structure of company, principal ownership, relevant financial information) 4.� Program description (rocket class, fuel type and quantities, launch site concept of operations (CONOPS), other information pertinent to launch site development) 5.� Desired type of infrastructure (pad size, utilities, comm requirements, etc.) 6.� Date able to start operations on the Eastern Range Interested parties are advised that sites being allocated are former (and in some cases, historical) launch pads that are in various states of abandon and may require substantial redevelopment investment, including demolition, site preparation, utility improvements, environmental mitigation, etc.� All costs associated with developing these sites for reuse are to be borne by the CLSP. This announcement is not a request for proposal, a request for quote, or a solicitation announcement. �This is not an effort to acquire products, services, or technology. �The Government will not pay or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this request.� The Government is under no obligation to award a contract or allocate property as a result of this request for information.� Information contained in this announcement is based on the best information available at the time of publication, is subject to revision, and is not binding on the Government.
