- Naval Supply Systems Command San Diego hereby gives NOTICE OF AWARD AS A SOLE SOURCE Pentad Corporation. Requirement is for food preparation services and mess attendant services to be provided at three galley sites on San Clemente Island (SCI), which are the (1) Naval Auxiliary Landing Field (NALF) Main galley, (2) San Clemente Island (SCI) Basic Underwater Demolition School (BUDS) galley, and (3) San Clemente Island (SCI) Naval Special Warfare Group-1 Training Detachment (TRADET) Camp Satellite to BUDS galley in support of CNRSW. Services include, but are not limited to: food preparation (cooking and baking), staffing a cashier and serving lines during meal periods, sanitation and housekeeping, scullery and dishwashing machine operation, and waste management. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 722310, Food Service Contractors. A written solicitation has been issued for a follow-on under N0024422R0083. This is current notice is for purchase as a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and compelling urgency. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of market research. All changes that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to SAM.gov. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. The contractor needs to be registered in the DoD System for Award Management (SAM).� Register via the SAM website https://www.sam.gov, and also be eligible to process invoices through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).� Register via the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment website at https://piee.eb.mil/. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1) Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents.
