- Description
- The Virginia Army National Guard (VaARNG) plans to conduct several Yellow Ribbon events between January and March 2023 on specific weekends (see below).� Each event will require a minimum of, lodging, one General Session room, an area for set-up to accomodate at least 35 partners and attendees, a counseling room, three child care rooms, lunch meals and parking.� In addition, child care services are required, but may be awarded separate from the lodging, event space and catering requirements.�� This notice is a Request for Information (RFI).� This is not a request for quote or proposal.� Separate notices will be posted prior to or when solicitations are issued to industry. The intent of this notice is to determine if the date and location of each event can be accomodated or if alternate dates must be considered due to already scheduled events in the area which will hinder the VaARNG from conducting events as currently planned. Interested vendors, event facilities, visitor bureaus, etc. are encouraged to respond to this notice stating if the dates and locations specified can currently be accomodated or if there are alternate dates in the specified area which should be considered.� The VaARNG recognizes current availability does not guarantee future availability.� For this reason, it is also requested information regarding dates by which a contract must be received in order to guarantee availability must be received. Responses to the above requests will assist the VaARNG in making informed decisions as requirements are finalized prior to issuance of solicitations to industry. Projected Event Dates and Locations: 1st Event: January 21-22, 2023 in Richmond, VA with approximately 1700 attendees.� It is estimated 350 lodging rooms will be required on January 20, 2023 and 600 rooms will be required on January 21, 2023. 2nd Event:�February 4-5, 2023 in Richmond, VA for approximately 240 attendees. It is estimated 25 lodging rooms will be required on February 3, 2023 and 45 rooms will be required on February 4, 2022. 3rd Event:�February 25-26, 2023 in Virginia Beach, VA for approximately 800 attendees.� It is estimated 170 lodging rooms will be required on February 24, 2023 and 250 rooms will be required on February 25, 2023. 4th Event: March 4-5, 2023 in Charlottesville/Staunton, VA for approximately 320 attendees.� It is estimated 55 lodging rooms will be required on March 3, 2023 and 100 rooms will be required on March 4, 2023. 5th Event: March 25-26, 2023 in Virginia Beach, VA for approximately 140 attendees.� It is estimated 20 lodging rooms will be required on March 24, 2023 and 30 rooms will be required on March 25, 2023.�
