Description

AFTC/PZI (Arnold) at Arnold AFB, TN intends to award a single source, firm fixed price contract as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to Teledyne Digital Imaging US, Inc. for a Pi-MAX 4 ultra-violet imaging system with part number PM4-1024-EMB-SB-FG-18-P43. FAR 13.106- 1(b)(1)(i) states for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. As confirmed through the Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM), Teledyne Digital Imaging US Inc., a large business, is the only authorized US-based distributor of the Pi-MAX4. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all responses received electronically by�12:00 PM CDT,�26 September 2022�will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received may only be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.��All questions and comments should be addressed to Ms. Erica Anglin , Contract Specialist, erica.anglin@us.af.mil. If no favorable responses are received by close of business 12:00 PM CDT on 26 September 2022, a contract will be negotiated with the above-named source. See attachment for details.
