Description

Sierra Army Depot (SIAD) is seeking sources who can provide 2 ea. (1 set) of �ISO Container Inspection & Maintenance Stands� having the following requirements: Must be able to hold a 40 foot long by 8 foot wide ISO storage container; must have ISO 1161 Twistlocks; must have 89 inches spacing between twistlocks; and must have a minimum weight load capacity of 80,000 lbs. between the set (40,000 lbs. per stand) with a minimum of 15 MPH winds. This is a Sources Sought Notice only and not intended to solicit offers. If your firm is capable of meeting this requirement, please submit your company capability statement along with your company socioeconomic status (i.e. Small Business, Other Than Small Business, etc.), GSA contract number if applicable, Unique Entity ID and CAGE code. Responses and questions can be e-mailed to: kathryn.l.cobb4.civ@army.mil. This information will be used as market research in determining an appropriate acquisition strategy. Currently Sierra Army Depot is NOT seeking proposals, bids or quotes. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. This Sources Sought does not constitute an Invitation for Bid, Request for Proposal or Request for Quote and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited. Further actions on this anticipated requirement will be determined following review of the responses from this sources sought.
