- Sources Sought Synopsis for C-5 Pitch Trim Actuator (Request for Interested Manufacturers) FROM:� Nathan Bissette 409 SCMS/GUMAB TO:� �� DLA Aviation Procurement Operations at Warner Robins (SPRWA1) LOCATION:� Robins AFB, GA 31098-1813 FBO Post Title:� Request for Interested Manufacturers C-5 Actuator NSN 1680-01-177-5069 SUBJECT: Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the C-5 Pitch Trim Actuator, NSN 1680-01-177-5069, part number 4C94000-109F ITEM DESCRIPTION Pitch Trim Actuator, part 4C94000-109F drives the C-5 Horizontal Stabilizer Impediment to Competition: The original equipment manufacturer for this part is Triumph Gear Systems, Inc. The Government does not own any data, drawings, schematics, or any other releasable technical data in support of this requirement. As a result, Triumph Gear Systems, Inc. is the only known source possessing the required technical data and capabilities needed to produce this item. INTEREST The DLA Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract to Triumph Gear Systems, Inc. for the manufacture of the Pitch Trim Actuator.� Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than Oct 29, 2022 to Nathan Bissette via email Nathan.bissette@us.af.mil and Jimmy Hicks jimmy.hicks@us.af.mil The Government intends to procure these items using Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
