Description
Oracle�s User Productivity Kit (UPK) Tool Replacement FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, OK, Enterprise Services Center (ESC), is performing market research for a potential Oracle�s User Productivity Kit (UPK) tool.� This application provides the ability to develop materials that demonstrate system procedures which drives end user adoption of those procedures as well as competency of system usage in ESC�s Financial Management and Procurement Systems Delphi and ESC PRISM.� Due to the upcoming end of vendor support for UPK, a new software application is needed for maintaining and developing on-line training materials.� This is a request for an informal price estimate, or Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), and product list, which may satisfy the high-level requirements, listed below.� This does not constitute a pre-competition, nor form the basis for the competitive pool.� You are not being evaluated in any way.� This is for informational purposes, not a marketing opportunity.� This market research is being conducted with the understanding that we will hold the information provided as proprietary.� Any information provided will not be shared with anyone other than those who are directly involved in the research process. If multiple core platforms would satisfy the requirements, please provide separate product listings and estimates for each, with the understanding that certain add-ons/modules may appear on both estimates. 1.0 Background FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, OK, Enterprise Services Center (ESC), is performing market research for a potential Oracle�s User Productivity Kit (UPK) tool replacement.� This application provides the ability to develop materials that demonstrate system procedures which drives end user adoption of those procedures as well as competency of system usage in ESC�s Financial Management and Procurement Systems Delphi and ESC PRISM.� Due to the upcoming end of vendor support for UPK, a new software application is needed for maintaining and developing on-line training materials.� 2.0 Requirements Questions: What are the different offering for this application SaaS On Premise / private cloud � Others - Specify In case of SaaS solution Is the Product FedRAMP Authorized Is it hosted in the United Stated or outside of United States Is this owned by US organization or is it owned by overseas organization - Name of the country/org In case of On-premise solution Will consultants from your company Install the Software Will there be training provided, hours of training provided Support - Will it in-person, through Web Site, through helpdesk Tickets , through Calls or all of it Can ESC install the Software Can ESC Manage the Infrastructure in our Data Center Integrate with Single Sign On (SSO) Enable SSO integration utilizing - Oracle Access Management (OAM) / Oracle Identity Management (OIDM) or Okta Capabilities: UPK Replacement Requirements 1 - Software should have the ability to convert current Oracle UPK recordings to new software platform. 2 - All developed training material must be accessible by standard web technologies and browsers 3 - Tool should be compatible with Oracle EBS Version 12.2.11 and Unison PRISM - Version 7.4.12, Splash BI - Splash Business Intelligence Inc. Version 5.2, 4 - The ability to record simulated activity in the applications including navigation and data entry with the ability to playback the recorded content 5 - Provide the ability to present text in the recorded content 6 - Allow for user interaction with prompts during recording 7 -�Allow for direct integration with the application so that user has access to content even while performing live activity in the production application 8 - Allow for admin editing of content to include object reclassification, insertion of material, text editing, removal of content, individual screen editing of visuals. 9 -�The ability to share recorded modules on a website using HTML. 10 - Provide the ability for end users to print training documents. 11 - Provide 508 compliance for accessible files. 12 - Will not use adobe flash files in accordance with security standards. 13 - Provide accurate object identification within oracle as user captures oracle actions when recording. 14 - Provide the ability to use search engine for files.� (Usually PDF and Word documents) Optional Requirements:� 15 - Ability to generate sound/voice to compliment text. 16 - Usage tracking.�� To determine how often particular contents are referenced/played and possibly by whom. 17 - Ability to provide a testing component for assessing capability 18 - Ability to export the text portion of a recording without the graphics 19 - Testing functionality that meets CPE certs 20 - Ability to try the software prior to purchase to ensure basic requirements are met Vendor Support Capabilities: Frequency of Software Updates Provide frequency of upgrades and patches for software License Type Type of license offered by the vendor: perpetual or subscription. Business Hours Support Provides toll-free customer support during your business hours. Implementation Support Provides complete turnkey onsite implementation and project management support. Training Provides onsite training to users. User Manuals Provides a complete set of user manuals for all software applications to document and explain system features and functions. IT Training Resources The vendor provides online resources and support to assist the training of IT staff in using and managing the tool. 3.0�������� Instructions Responses, submitted electronically in MS-WORD or Adobe PDF format are limited to 15 pages, excluding a completed Business Declaration, using 12-point Times New Roman front (or similar) with 1-inch margins.� Responses are due no later than 5:00 P.M. (CST) October 31, 2022.� All interested parties must submit their responses via email to abigael.k.schultz@faa.gov.� Questions must be in writing, no phone calls please.� Responses should include �Market Survey Response to AC-23-ESC-UPK"" and outline the information in the following categories / format. A. Capability Statement - This document should identify: Provide a brief description of your company, types of services, business size and point(s) of contact, including name, address, phone and email address.� Include a completed Business Declaration. (See attached). B. Please provide information regarding your available acquisition sources for this requirement. Please indicate if your company currently offers these services through a General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) or Multiple Award Schedule (MAS),�Electronic Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Accelerated and Simplified Tasks (eFAST), or other contractual vehicle.
