- Description
- The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, VA, intends to negotiate multiple Firm, Fixed-Price, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) requirements type contracts under FAR Part 15, FAR Subpart 16.5, and FAR 19.504-2. This service contract is in support of several mission partners; Commander Naval Installations Command (CNIC), Military Sealift Command (MSC), Commander, Submarine Force (CSF), U.S. Pacific Fleet (PACFLT), Commander, Submarine Force Atlantic , and Afloat Training Group Pacific for ongoing Call Out Tug requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 488390, Navigational Services to Shipping, with a size standard of 41.5 (millions of dollars). The resulting contract is expected to be for a five-year Ordering Period: 04/01/2023 � 03/31/2028 and one six-month period in accordance with FAR clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, to continue performance through 09/30/2028. A complete Request for Proposal (RFP) package will be available by downloading the documents at the SAM website as follows: SAM.gov on or around 04 November 2022. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will not issue hard copy RFPs. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFP, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside of the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
