- Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 and as implemented in FAR 13.106-3(b)(3)(i), VA Albuquerque Healthcare System Cooperative Studies Program Clinical Research Pharmacy Coordinating Center intends to award a sole source contract with JRS PHARMA LP for PROSOLV®EASYtab SP as a responsible source to provide the above supplies. JRS PHARMA LP is the original manufacturer and the only vendor with authorization and certification to provide PROSOLV®EASYtab SP. It has been determined due to VA Albuquerque s ongoing clinical studies which uses the PROSOLV®EASYtab SP as their placebo there can be no substitutions. JRS PHARMA LP is the only responsible source, and no other services will satisfy the agency requirements. This requirement will be awarded as an IDIQ contract with base plus four option years. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 325412 with a business size standard of 1,240 employees and PSC: 6640. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as an authorized distributor letter from JRS PHARMA LP giving authorization to provide PROSOLV®EASYtab SP to Hestia Sim, by 10:00 AM Pacific Local Time on October 31, 2022. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the contracting officer will proceed with the sole source award to JRS PHARMA LP. Capability statements shall be submitted by email only as a MS Word or Adobe PDF attachment to Hestia Sim at Hestia.Sim@va.gov and telephonic inquiries will not be accepted.
