Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Transfer Center (FTC), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, intends to award a sole source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and by the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 - only one responsible source, to Abbott Rapid DX North America, LLC, 30 S Keller RD STE 100, Orlando, 32810-6297, to provide Binax Now Covid-19 AG Card Kits.� This notice is neither a request for quotation nor a solicitation of offers as no solicitation document is available. Based on the requirements, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice.� However, any vendor who believes they can meet these requirements may give a written or fax notification to the Contracting Officer by 3:30 pm CST on October 28, 2022.� Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement.� Point of contact for all information regarding this request is Curtis Yates, Supervisory Contract Specialist, at the address listed below or telephone number 405-680-74072.� Information may be mailed to the address below or emailed to cxyates@bop.gov.� Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.� If no responses are received, FTC Oklahoma City will proceed with the sole source procurement with Astrophysics Inc.� Faith-based organizations and Community-based organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
