- Special Notice Subject: Blood Testing Reagents and Supplies Virtual Industry Day GENERAL INFORMATION SOLICITATION NUMBER: NAICS CODE: 325413 PRODUCT/SERVICE CODE: 6550 CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS: Network Contracting Office 1 (NCO1) VAMC Brockton 940 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02301 POINT OF CONTACT: Sarah Otis, Contract Specialist, Sarah.Otis@va.gov ADDITIONAL INFORMATION DESCRIPTION: Network Contracting Office 1 (NCO1) along with the Network Consolidated Laboratory for VISN 1 is hosting an Informational Virtual Industry Event for their upcoming acquisition, Blood Bank Testing Reagents and Supplies. Vendors must provide (1) of each item to be sampled to each of the listed laboratory facilities. In order to prevent duplication of product samples, this event it limited to manufactures or their designated distributor. EVENT INFORMATION: Dates: October 26, 2022 November 16, 2022, Location: VISN 1 VAMC s throughout New England (Exact addresses listed on attachment.) as well as virtual appointments via Microsoft Teams If your company would like to participate in the Virtual Industry Day, please complete the attached Industry Day Request form included at the end of this notice and send to Sarah Otis at Sarah.Otis@va.gov and Julie Lemire at Julie.Lemire@va.gov by November 4, 2022, 4:00pm EST. Samples must be received no later than November 4, 2022. All vendors whose requests and samples have been received by the November 4, 2022, deadline will be invited to schedule 30-minute product discussion calls on either November 15, 2022, or November 16, 2022. STATEMENT OF NEED The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Veteran Health Administration (VHA), Network Consolidated Laboratory (NCL) for VISN 1 has a need for blood bank testing reagents and supplies. The objective is to ensure efficacy and consistency of products when examined within a comparison study across several of the VISN 1 laboratories. All required testing reagents and supplies are listed within the attachment. Registration for this Virtual Industry Day is on a first come, first served basis and registration forms must be completed and returned no later November 4, 2022, 4:00 pm EST and product samples must also be received by each of the laboratories no later than November 4, 2022.
