Description
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to solicit and award, on a sole source basis, a contract in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-5, Authorized or required by statute.� The USCG intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract to: Immersion Consulting 2200 Somerville Road, Suite 100 Annapolis, MD 21401 The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain program management and training requirements for the Coast Guard Mission Planning System (CG-MPS).� The CG-MPS provides pre-flight planning, mission planning, navigation data, and post-mission analysis for the Coast Guard�s aviation assets.� The Contractor shall provide technical support and consultation on the CG-MPS software, associated hardware, required upgrades, and updates that will affect the performance of the system and its software.� Please see the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW) for additional details on this requirement. The period of performance will be inclusive of a one-year Base Period, followed by four (4) one-year Option Periods.� THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND A SOLICITATION IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT.� Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than Thursday, November 3, 2022.� In order to be considered capable, respondents must include the following in their responses in order to show clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government: Respondents must have prior demonstrated aviation experience. Respondents must have prior demonstrated experience using Portable Flight Planning Software (PFPS), Falcon View or Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS). Information received will be used solely for the purposes of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract award upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Reimbursement for any costs associated with providing capability information will not be provided.
